Karla Lee's True Story of her perspective as a Child of Divorce

A$25.00

Please Don’t Go! by Karla Lee is a powerful and heartfelt testimony that demonstrates how a child of divorce can go on to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.

In this deeply personal book, Karla shares the struggles she faced after her parents’ divorce. She recounts the pain and confusion she felt when first told about the breakup, and how her world of security and comfort shattered in an instant. Losing her mother’s daily presence as a little girl was more devastating than she could comprehend at the time, and her father’s absence only deepened her feelings of rejection.

These emotions left Karla grappling with isolation and loneliness, which shaped her childhood and led her to seek love and attention in unhealthy ways. Rebellion became her way of coping, and she found herself in an emotionally and verbally abusive relationship, perpetuating the cycle of rejection she had come to expect.

Despite the heartache, Karla’s story is one of redemption and hope. Through perseverance and self-discovery, she eventually found unconditional love that brought her peace and clarity. Today, Karla understands her purpose and uses her experiences to inspire others, showing that even in the face of immense pain, healing and fulfillment are possible.

Karla Lee created this book to encourage parents to take a positive approach to communicating with their children during challenging times. To complement the stories, she also designed Counselling Puppet Dolls, which can be used as tools to further engage and support children.
